My musical journey began with piano studies at the Antalya State Conservatory and continued at Boğaziçi University Music Club while I pursued my MA in Business. During this time, I performed with the university’s orchestra and choirs, deepening my vocal technique under the mentorship of Elif Çağlar, Başak Yavuz, Sibel Köse, and Randy Esen. I further expanded my artistic vision by attending international programs such as the NY Jazz Workshop, Berklee Umbria Jazz Clinics, Siena Jazz Workshop, and Bahçeşehir University Jazz Certificate Program, eventually completing a master's degree in Jazz Studies at Bahçeşehir University.
In 2015, with a scholarship from the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, I traveled to Australia and performed at the Sydney Opera House with the Gondwana Centenary Chorale.
While living in Dublin in 2018, I continued my vocal studies with Aleka Potinga and collaborated with Spanish DJ WRU, releasing three singles.
With my beloved choir Chromas, I participated in international tours and festivals, sharing music on diverse stages. Additionally, I performed in Zorlu PSM’s production of Fiddler on the Roof for three seasons.
Dedicated to the study of vocal expression, I completed my second master’s degree in Ethnomusicology at ITU Center for Advanced Studies in Music, finishing my studies in Conservatorio di Musica Arrigo Boito Jazz Master Program in Parma, Italy. Since 2017, I have been actively performing with my band, offering vocal coaching, and guiding singers in their artistic journeys.
In 2024, I started working in "Vocal Coach Barcelona", I have been enrolled in the Modern Vocal Training Vocal Coach Certification Program, continuing to deepen my understanding of modern vocal techniques and coaching methods.
As of November 2021, I have been releasing my original music through Babajim İstanbul. My artistic vision is deeply connected to storytelling, weaving the rich textures of different cultures into my music. I aim to vocalize the untold stories of Mediterranean women, starting with my own. Currently based in Barcelona, I continue to explore new musical landscapes, merging improvisation with emotional depth to create an immersive and expressive vocal world.
My debut album, set to be released in 2025, embodies this vision, offering a sonic journey through deeply personal and culturally rich narratives.
